We are currently seeking qualified Electricians to work on-site at AWE Aldermaston, supporting electrical installation, maintenance and facilities works within a highly regulated environment.

The Role

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding activities while working safely and in accordance with site procedures.

Duties may include:

• Electrical installation and maintenance
• Testing and inspection
• Fault finding and repairs
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Working from drawings and specifications
• Completing relevant documentation and certification
• Adhering to strict health, safety and security requirements
• Working collaboratively with other trades and site teams

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent
• Relevant electrical experience
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Inspection & Testing qualification desirable
• Previous industrial, commercial or facilities experience advantageous
• Valid SC Clearance is required
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to work within a highly controlled and regulated environment
