Our client is in need of an experienced night concierge who is autonomous in taking control of nightly operations of a private residential block of apartments. As you will be working completely on your own on the night shift it will be essential that you have proven experience of a similar lone working role where you have full responsibility for nightly operations in order to be confident in managing the building at night. The Concierge at this development is first point of contact for residents and visitors. At night, should there be any reactive maintenance faults or emergencies you will be expected to have the confidence and ability to carry out the right checks and take action to resolve problems and administer all incidents in order for all staff in the building to be briefed clearly during the morning hand over. You will be responsible for ensuring a professional, courteous, confidential, safe and efficient reception service to the residents and visitors of the building. Duties will include meeting and greeting residents, answering enquiries by telephone or callers to the desk, assisting residents, guests and visitors where necessary, dealing effectively with complaints and taking the correct action whilst remaining courteous at all times, ensuring the effective security of residents and the building at all times, reporting any suspicious behaviour, reporting any security/Health & Safety issues, incidents and complaints, the safekeeping of all deliveries and parcels to the main reception desk, and assisting the General Manager with any other reasonable duties as requested. The successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a positive attitude with a willingness to assist
