Are you an experienced Skilled Labourer or Bricklayer's Mate looking for your next role on a busy commercial construction project in Manchester?

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to support an established bricklaying team on a fast-paced commercial site. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in keeping works moving safely and efficiently.

The Role

Working alongside experienced Bricklayers, you'll be responsible for:

✅ Assisting with lifting, moving and setting up bricks and blocks
✅ Mixing mortar and preparing materials for the bricklaying team
✅ Supporting site operations and helping maintain programme requirements
✅ Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe at all times
✅ Assisting with general site duties as required
✅ Working from scaffolding when necessary to support construction activities
✅ Helping ensure site health & safety standards are maintained

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Bricklayer's Mate or Skilled Labourer
Experience handling bricks, blocks and mortar mixes
Comfortable working on busy commercial construction sites
CSCS Card (Essential)
Full PPE
Strong awareness of health & safety
Reliable and hardworking attitude
