doris Talent is working exclusively with a successful SME insurance business based near Bank that is looking for a highly organised, proactive Personal / Team Assistant to support their Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) and wider team.

The CUO is down-to-earth, approachable and extremely busy. He needs someone he can genuinely rely on to take things off his plate, anticipate what’s coming next, keep him organised and make sure nothing falls through the cracks

You’ll also play an important role supporting a small team, so this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be a key part of the day-to-day running of the business.

What you'll be doing:

Providing proactive 1:1 PA support to the Chief Underwriting Officer

Managing a busy diary, meetings, travel and appointments

Preparing meeting packs, documents, presentations and reports

Managing correspondence and keeping on top of actions and deadlines

Coordinating meetings and following up on actions

Supporting the wider underwriting team with day-to-day administration

Helping keep priorities moving across a busy team

Taking ownership of ad-hoc tasks and projects

Being the person who spots what needs doing before you're asked

Generally making life easier for the CUO and keeping the team organised

What we're looking for:

  • *Insurance experience is essential - Please only apply if you have this to avoid dissapointment**

Highly organised and naturally proactive

Comfortable supporting senior stakeholders

Confident juggling multiple priorities

Great at anticipating needs and staying ahead of deadlines

Detail-focused without losing sight of the bigger picture

A strong communicator who is happy dealing with people at all levels

Comfortable working in a small business where everyone mucks in

Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do

Why this role?

You'll have real visibility and responsibility within a successful SME insurance business. You'll work closely with a senior decision-maker and become a trusted part of both his day-to-day operation and the wider team.

If you're the kind of person who sees a problem before it becomes a problem, keeps everyone organised and genuinely enjoys being the person who makes things happen, we'd love to hear from you.
