Senior Practice Accountant

The practice is open to both full time and part time candidates. As a Senior Practice Accountant, you’ll enjoy a varied role across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT, managing client relationships and working closely with the directors to support the running and continued growth of the business.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Practice Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing year end accounts for a range of clients.

Preparing tax computations and returns.

Supporting clients with bookkeeping and VAT requirements.

Managing client relationships, answering queries and providing practical advice.

Managing deadlines and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.

Supporting the directors with the day to day running and growth of the practice.

Supporting junior members staff and reviewing their work as necessary.

Requirements
To be considered for this Senior Practice Accountant opportunity, you’ll have:

Previous experience within an accountancy practice.

A strong background in accounts preparation and tax.

A good understanding of bookkeeping and VAT.

Confidence managing client relationships and taking ownership of your workload.

A friendly, collaborative approach and an interest in contributing to a growing practice.

£35,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.
