Aspire People are currently recruiting fluent Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisors to work across Welsh-medium secondary schools and Further Education colleges throughout Newport and surrounding areas, with immediate starts available.
We are seeking confident, adaptable individuals who can step into classrooms or learning environments and support learners across a range of subjects in both school and college settings.

The Role
As a Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-set work across a variety of subjects and curriculum areas
• Maintain a calm, focused and engaging learning environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school or college procedures
• Support learners with their studies through the medium of Welsh
• Work closely with teaching and lecturing staff to ensure continuity of learning
• Adapt confidently to different educational settings and learner needs

Requirements

• Fluent Welsh (spoken and written)
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils and/or Further Education learners
• Confidence managing behaviour and learning independently
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• EWC registration (or willingness to register)
• A proactive, reliable and professional approach
