SEN Primary Teaching Assistant - LS10

We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs within a welcoming primary school in LS10.

The Role

Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils who require additional support
Assisting children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning needs
Supporting pupils in accessing the curriculum
Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
Working alongside teachers and SEN professionals

The Ideal Candidate

Experience supporting children with SEND is highly desirable
Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
Relevant qualifications welcomed but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
