Foreman / Site Supervisor – Groundworks

Location: Peterborough
Rate: £240–£270 per day (DOE) – Negotiable
Start: 12/10 – Earlier Start Considered
Duration: Long-Term / Ongoing

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman / Site Supervisor to join a larger, well-established groundworks contractor on a groundworks package in the Peterborough area.

The contractor has a 12–18 month pipeline of secured work, with further projects available for the right candidate and genuine opportunities to progress within the business.

Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day groundworks activities.

Coordinate site teams, labour and subcontractors.

Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required standard.

Coordinate labour, plant and materials.

Monitor progress, quality and Health & Safety.

Liaise with Site Management, engineers and the wider project team.

Assist with resolving site issues and maintaining productivity.

Requirements

Previous Foreman or Site Supervisor experience within groundworks.

Strong groundworks background.

SSSTS or SMSTS – Essential.

CSCS card– Essential.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Additional relevant tickets are desirable.

What's on Offer

£240–£270 per day, negotiable depending on experience.

Start date: 12th of October, with earlier interviews and start available if required.

12–18 months of secured work in the pipeline.

Further projects available beyond the initial package.
