365 People are recruiting for a Warehouse & Distribution Administrator to join an established business in Leicester.

This is a varied position supporting the day-to-day administration of the warehouse and distribution operation, with a particular focus on customer orders, transport, deliveries and dispatch.

We're looking for someone with experience in warehouse administration, logistics, distribution, transport, order processing or a similar fast-paced operational environment.

The role will involve:

• Processing customer orders and associated paperwork
• Producing picking tickets, dispatch notes and courier labels
• Supporting warehouse pick and pack administration
• Using the Transport Management System
• Capacity planning and route planning
• Preparing delivery routes and transport manifests
• Coordinating deliveries and collections
• Managing delivery bookings
• Updating courier portals and uploading delivery information
• Preparing relevant export paperwork
• Monitoring orders and identifying potential delivery issues
• Reviewing courier exception reports and following up problems
• Processing goods returns and collections
• Investigating customer complaints and delivery issues
• Supporting third-party claims and credit recovery
• Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Liaising with warehouse, customer service and other internal departments
• Liaising with couriers and external service providers
• Maintaining accurate information within ERP and transport systems

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in warehouse administration, distribution, logistics, transport administration, order processing or a similar role would be ideal.

You should be organised, accurate and confident working with computer systems. You'll need to be comfortable communicating with customers, couriers, suppliers and colleagues across different departments.

Experience with any of the following would be particularly useful:

• Warehouse or distribution administration
• Transport planning or route planning
• Order processing
• Courier systems and portals
• Delivery and collection bookings
• ERP or Transport Management Systems
• Returns and complaints
• Dispatch documentation
• Customer service within a logistics or distribution environment
