As Foreman, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. You will provide hands-on leadership to site teams, coordinate plant and resources, and work closely with engineering and management staff to achieve project objectives.

Conduct regular site inspections and promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture.

Coordinate daily activities with Supervisors, Engineers, and Project Management teams.

Drive productivity across earthworks operations while maintaining quality standards.

Plan and deliver works in line with project programmes and operational requirements.

Ensure compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), hold points, and quality procedures.

Manage site resources, materials, and plant requirements.

Monitor plant inspections and ensure defects are reported and rectified promptly.

Complete and maintain accurate daily records and allocation sheets.

Liaise professionally with client representatives and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with permits, site procedures, SOPs, and project-specific requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Foreman within civil engineering, infrastructure, or large-scale earthworks projects.

Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Experience managing multiple work fronts and coordinating site teams.

Good understanding of bulk earthworks operations and production requirements.

Knowledge of the Specification for Highway Works and quality control processes.

Experience using GPS machine guidance systems.

Ability to interpret and deliver works against short and medium-term programmes.

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Confident working with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Ability to drive performance, productivity, and quality across site operations.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join a major infrastructure project with long-term prospects, excellent benefits, and the chance to play a key role in delivering nationally significant works. You'll be part of a collaborative team environment where safety, quality, and professional development are at the forefront.
