£25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Our successful Telford client is looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll administrator or someone looking to start their career within payroll/administration/or for someone wanting to gain valuable experience in a busy and varied office environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Accurate data entry using Excel and the company HR/Payroll system.
• Managing and responding to shared email inboxes.
• Arranging and administering fuel cards.
• Coordinating company vehicle movements and related administration.
• Maintaining accurate employee and vehicle records.
• Providing administrative support across fleet and payroll activities.
• Answering telephone calls and dealing with internal and external enquiries.
• Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and within required timescales.
• Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties as required.

Skills and Experience

Previous payroll experience is not essential as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in their work. You will be confident communicating with people over the phone, have good IT skills, particularly within Excel, and be keen to learn within a fast-paced office environment.
