Location: Outskirts of Keighley
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:30am–5:30pm | Friday, 8:30am–2:00pm

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker to join our client on the outskirts of Keighley on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

This is a very physical and demanding role involving the handling and preparation of steel. Duties will include moving steel, cutting steel to size, folding steel and using a pressing machine.

Previous experience in sheet metal work would be advantageous but is not essential, as training can be provided for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Moving and handling steel
• Cutting steel to the required size
• Folding steel
• Operating a pressing machine
• Using a tape measure accurately
• Working safely and efficiently within a busy environment

About You

The successful candidate will be:

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Practical and switched on
• Comfortable using a tape measure
• Reliable and hardworking
• Willing to learn new skills
• Previous sheet metal or similar experience would be beneficial but is not essential
