A strong Sales Controller opportunity with an established automotive retail business in Swindon, offering a £55,000 OTE and no Sunday working.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting a Sales Controller for an established automotive retail operation.
This is a great opportunity for a high-performing car Sales Executive ready to take the next step into a Controller-level position, or an experienced Sales Controller / similar-level candidate looking for a fresh challenge.

The role will suit someone who understands the sales process, has strong commercial awareness and can support a sales team while maintaining control of deals, customer experience and overall sales performance.

THE PACKAGE INCLUDES:

• £30,000 basic salary
• £55,000 OTE
• No Sundays worked
• Established automotive retail environment
• Genuine progression opportunity for a strong Sales Executive ready to step up

THE ROLE

• Support and drive the sales team to maximise performance and conversion
• Control deals effectively and maintain strong commercial discipline
• Help structure profitable customer propositions
• Coach and support Sales Executives through the sales process
• Maintain high standards around customer experience, compliance and process
• Work closely with sales management to deliver volume, margin and finance objectives
• Use strong product, market and customer knowledge to support deal progression
• Manage and progress customer enquiries from initial contact through to sale
• Maximise opportunities across vehicle sales, finance and additional products
• Maintain strong follow-up with existing and prospective customers
• Work collaboratively with the wider dealership team to ensure a smooth customer journey
• Ensure sales activity, customer information and deal documentation are maintained accurately

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
YOULL NEED

• Strong current or recent car sales experience
• A proven ability to deliver consistently against sales targets
• Commercial confidence and strong deal awareness
• Excellent customer-handling and communication skills
• The credibility to coach, challenge and support a sales team
• A structured and professional approach to the sales process
• Strong understanding of automotive retail and the customer journey
• The ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• A full UK driving licence

IDEAL BACKGROUND:
Existing Sales Controller, Transaction Manager or similar-level experience
OR
A high-performing Sales Executive with the experience, maturity and commercial awareness to step up
