About EDClass
EDClass is an accredited online education provider by the Department for Education (DfE), delivering high-quality, innovative alternative provision across the UK. We work extensively with schools, multi-academy trusts, and local authorities to provide personalised learning pathways for students accessing Section 19 provision, Education Other Than At School (EOTAS), medical needs support, and school inclusion programs. In the near future, we will also be extending our delivery to Electively Home Educated (EHE) students.
At EDClass, we put safeguarding students at the heart of everything we do. Every lesson, interaction, and platform protocol is built to ensure a secure, transparent, and supportive learning environment for every young person.
We believe in fostering an engaging and compassionate learning environment that empowers learners to reach their full potential. We are dedicated to providing a quality education that aims to reintegrate learners back into school or support them toward their positive destination.
We are also a person-centred employer who is fully flexible to the needs of our commissioning schools and educational establishments. Just as we invest in our learners, we believe in and invest in our people. While this role is offered remotely, we also have an established team of full-time and part-time teachers based on-site at our offices in Dinnington, offering full pay and flexible working arrangements—please enquire if this is an option you would like to explore.
As an accredited provider now offering GCSEs and comprehensive qualifications to a wide range of learners, we are expanding our teaching team. We are seeking qualified, passionate, and dedicated Online Science Teachers (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to match the growing demand across our live academic delivery.

Our platform supports a diverse cohort of learners, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or students facing barriers to mainstream education. You will play a central role in demystifying scientific principles, building experimental and analytical confidence, closing knowledge gaps, and guiding pupils toward accredited qualification success and successful reintegration.
