Location: Central & West London
Salary: Up to £70,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Benefits
Type: Permanent | Full-Time

The Role

We are currently seeking experienced LVAP Testers to join major projects across Central and West London, including high-value commercial fit-outs and data centre environments.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced LVAP Tester who can confidently take ownership of LV electrical testing, verification, isolation and safe energisation activities on site.

Day-rate opportunities are also available for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Lead LV inspection and testing activities across project sites.

Test, verify and certify electrical installations in line with relevant standards.

Carry out controlled LV energisation and isolation procedures.

Follow approved RAMS, permits, switching procedures and site-specific processes.

Assist with identifying and resolving electrical testing issues and faults.

Complete test documentation, certification and handover records accurately.

Work closely with project engineers, supervisors and commissioning teams.

Ensure all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Support the successful delivery and commissioning of major London projects.

Requirements

2391 Inspection & Testing qualification or recognised equivalent.

18th Edition / BS7671 qualification.

Previous experience working as an LVAP / LV Authorised Person Tester.

Strong commercial electrical testing experience.

Background in commercial fit-outs and/or data centre environments.

Good knowledge of LV distribution, isolation and energisation.

Valid ECS/JIB card.

Ability to work independently within active project environments.

Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Desirable Experience

Previous LVAP / AP authorisation.

Experience working on data centre or critical infrastructure projects.

Large-scale commercial fit-outs.

Complex LV distribution, testing and commissioning.

Full UK driving licence.
