Vehicle Technician

We are working with a reputable automotive client in Colindale, North West London, to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to join a well-established workshop that values quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The Vehicle Technician role offers a structured work environment, competitive salary, and clear career development pathways.

Benefits:

Competitive basic salary from £35,000 to £38,000, with an OTE of up to £50,000
23 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 days in January 2027
Monday to Friday working hours, with flexible start and finish times
No weekends, weekends off guaranteed
Structured 9-hour working day (8am - 5.30pm) with a half-hour lunch break

Modern workshop with the latest diagnostic technologyDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs and services to high standards
Maintain accurate records of all work completed
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and costs
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
Keep the workshop area clean, safe, and well-organised
Assist with additional workshop duties as required to ensure smooth operationsRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

IMI Level 3 qualification preferred; Level 2 individuals with relevant experience will also be considered
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop environment
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
