This is an excellent opportunity to join a Local Authority Property Services team, overseeing a range of mechanical, electrical, maintenance and building services contracts across the managed estate.

The CONTRACTS OFFICER will play a key role in ensuring contractors deliver safe, compliant, high-quality and cost-effective services, while supporting effective contract administration and performance management.

The responsibilities of a CONTRACTS OFFICER will include:

• Managing and administering building services and maintenance contracts
• Monitoring contractor performance against KPIs and contractual requirements
• Supporting statutory compliance, quality assurance and risk management
• Reviewing performance data, financial information and contract reporting
• Supporting procurement and ensuring governance procedures are followed
• Monitoring social value commitments and contractor obligations
• Supporting financial control, auditing and value-for-money initiatives
• Working closely with Property Services, contractors and internal stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

We’re keen to hear from candidates with experience in:

• Contract management or contract administration
• Building services, property, facilities or maintenance
• Contractor performance and KPI monitoring
• Procurement and governance processes
• Financial administration and reporting
• Local Authority or public-sector environments (desirable)
