Recruitment Consultant

Recruitment Consultant (Engineering, Architecture & Construction)

Hybrid – Based in Portishead, Bristol | £27,000 – £32,000 + Commission

We’re on the hunt for a 360 Recruitment Consultant to join our growing squad! If you're passionate about people, love a challenge, and want to work in a high-energy environment where your efforts are recognised (and celebrated!), then this could be your perfect move.

At our core, we’re a tight-knit team of ambitious go-getters who take our work seriously — but never ourselves. We celebrate the wins, learn from the losses, and make space for Friday drinks, spontaneous dog cuddles, and team socials that go way beyond pub lunches.

The Role

You’ll take charge of your own desk, helping top-tier talent find their dream roles across the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors covering the North of England. We’ll give you the tools, trust, and flexibility you need — you bring the drive, personality, and a hunger to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

• Sourcing, attracting, and engaging standout candidates using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
• Building strong, long-term relationships with both candidates and clients
• Managing the full 360 recruitment cycle — from first contact to offer negotiation
• Developing new business opportunities and nurturing warm leads
• Conducting interviews and screening calls to uncover top talent
• Promoting roles and your personal brand through social media and creative outreach
• Contributing ideas, improving processes, and getting stuck into team goals

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years' recruitment experience (ideally with 1+ years in the eng, construction, or arch space)
• Sales or recruitment background (you’re confident, driven, and love making connections)
• Killer communication skills — written, verbal, and the all-important listening
• Creativity, resilience, and the confidence to make things happen
• Target-focused but people-first — you care about making the right match
• Tech-savvy and organised (MS Office, social tools, CRM systems)

What You’ll Get in Return

• Up to £30,000 salary (depending on experience)
• Competitive commission structure with no cap
• Flexible & hybrid working culture
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off
• Dog-friendly office (yes, really)
• Casual dress code – bring your whole self to work
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual team incentives (think meals out, weekends away, and more)
• Health & wellbeing perks – online CBT, legal support, bereavement services
• Tools that actually work (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Itris, and more)
• A team that supports you, roots for you, and celebrates with you

Ready to Join a Recruitment Business That Actually Gets It? Whether you're looking to step into something more rewarding or craving a culture where your ideas (and dance moves) are appreciated — we’d love to hear from you
