Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, eager and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their Process Engineering team.
What You Will Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will oversee all maintenance activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a fully site-based role, working closely with production, engineering and maintenance teams. You will ensure equipment reliability, safety and operational efficiency. You will co-ordinate preventative and reactive maintenance, minimise downtime and support continuous improvement including project work and 6S across production and warehouse operations.
How You Will Do It
Perform planned preventative maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance schedules
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults on production equipment.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and support production teams in restoring operations.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and plant equipment to identify potential issues.
Maintain accurate maintenance records using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and equipment.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Work closely with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment performance issues.
Manage and maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance consumables.
Participate in root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions.
Support contractors and external service providers during maintenance projects.
Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and permit-to-work procedures where applicable

5+ years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
