SF Partners are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for a business based in Cannock.
This role combines hands-on management accounting with business partnering. You'll work with budget holders and operational leaders to explain financial performance, challenge assumptions and help them make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review weekly and monthly management accounts
Complete accruals, prepayments, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations
Produce variance analysis, KPIs and clear commentary on performance
Support annual budgets and periodic forecasts
Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for business decisions
Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve performance and control costs
Prepare quarterly VAT returns
Support year-end reporting, audit requirements and improvements to finance processes
About You
A strong grounding in management accounting
Experience analysing financial performance and explaining the findings to non-finance colleagues
The confidence to build relationships, ask questions and offer constructive challenge
Advanced Excel and analytical skills
Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent status
