To be eligible for this role, you must have a minimum of 6 months’ recent experience working as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) within an NHS or Private Hospital in the UK.

Minerva Nursing is currently recruiting experienced Hospital Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to support a private hospital in central London.

Due to increased demand, we're looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable HCAs who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

The Role

As a Hospital Healthcare Assistant, you'll work alongside Registered Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care and support to patients
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, nutrition and hydration
• Take and record clinical observations where trained and competent
• Recognise and report changes in a patient's condition
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Support infection prevention and control procedures
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality
• Follow safeguarding procedures and organisational policies
• Deliver compassionate and professional patient care at all times

To be considered, you must have:

• Minimum 6 months’ recent UK hospital experience as a Healthcare Assistant
• Experience within an NHS or Private Hospital setting
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence working within a busy clinical environment
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• A good understanding of patient dignity, confidentiality and safeguarding
• A flexible, reliable and positive approach to work
• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
• Willingness and ability to complete the required compliance process within 7–10 days
