Financial Controller

Head of Finance - Near Tring - Up to £100k depending on experience**
Jacob Grey are partnered with a well established and continuously growing SME to identify a new number 1 in finance.
Reporting to a friendly and engaging Board of Directors, your duties will include:

• Full ownership of the day to day financial operations
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts including P&L and balance-sheet reconciliations
• Presenting the monthly accounts with variance analysis and commentary
• Acting as an aid and business partner to the Directors, helping to guide them on strategy and maximise profit/performance through insightful analysis
• Preparing the annual budgets and forecasts Introducing / streamlining financial processes where applicable
• Full responsibility for company financial compliance and tax returns
• Year End Statutory Accounts including liaising with the auditors
• Managing and developing a small team of transactional staff, and overseeing day to day finance

The client is seeking a fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with an exemplary track record in similar roles. Manufacturing/Distribution experience would be a huge bonus, though not essential.
