Diamond Search are recruiting on behalf of a growing children’s residential care provider for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead a new home in Sutton Coldfield. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a children’s residential home in line with Children’s Homes Regulations (England) 2015

Maintain and strive for Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings

Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare and safety

Create a nurturing, stable and positive environment for children and young people

Develop and maintain Care Plans, Risk Assessments and behaviour support strategies

Recruit, lead, supervise and develop a high‑performing staff team

Plan activities, events and experiences tailored to individual needs

Manage budgets, resources and home maintenance

Complete all mandatory training and ensure staff compliance

Maintain Ofsted registration and DBS Update Service status

Report safeguarding and compliance matters to senior leadership
Essential Skills & Experience

Proven leadership experience within a children’s residential setting

Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection and regulatory compliance

Knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and quality standards

Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑building skills

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete within 2 years)
