About the role:
Elwood Recruitment are recruiting for Support Workers in Southgate. You will work in Residential Services which provide 24 hour care and support to adults with learning disabilities.
The role involves providing day to day support with daily living tasks, activities and making full use of community opportunities.
As part of the care and support team you will assist in maintaining a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to those living within the service.
Successful applicants will be:

• Assisting with shopping and having nice meals out
• Doing arts and crafts
• Attending day services
• Music, sing along or disco’s
• Reflexology
• Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include – but not be limited to – finances, shopping, cooking & personal care)

Typical Shift Schedules / Patterns:
On offer we have flexible shift patterns to suit your lifestyle, giving you full control of when you would like to work. Candidates can expect to be offered a mixture of earlies, lates, long days and waking nights on a weekly basis.
Shift times include:

• 07.00-14.30
• 14.00-21.30
• 07.00-21.30
• 21.15-07.15

Essential Experience:

• Care & Support Work: 6 Months in the UK
