We are currently looking to recruit experienced Complex Care Support Workers to work across a range of specialist services in the North East, supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency, dual diagnosis, mental health needs, and complex behaviours. Opportunities include residential rehabilitation services, supported living, community-based recovery programmes, specialist units, and private healthcare settings as part of our established health and social care agency.
The Role
As a Complex Care Support Worker at Pin Point Health, your main duties will include:

• Supporting individuals with drug and alcohol recovery programmes in line with personalised care and support plans.
• Providing practical and emotional support to promote independence, wellbeing, and long-term recovery.
• Administering and recording medication in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in physical health, mental wellbeing, and potential relapse indicators.
• Supporting service users to attend appointments, recovery groups, and community activities.
• Assisting with daily living skills, personal care (where required), and domestic duties.
• Developing positive working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, substance misuse specialists, and social care services.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential records, including risk assessments, incident reports, and support documentation.
• Promoting safeguarding, health and safety, and positive risk management at all times.
• Building professional, respectful relationships with service users, their families, and external agencies while maintaining appropriate boundaries.

The Person
The following experience and characteristics are considered essential for the role:

• A minimum of 6–12 months' experience within health and social care, preferably supporting individuals with drug and alcohol dependency, mental health needs, dual diagnosis, challenging behaviour, or complex care needs.
• A sound understanding of recovery-focused practice, safeguarding, confidentiality, and person-centred support.
• The ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging or high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and positive relationships.
• Reliable, compassionate, and adaptable, with a flexible approach to working across a variety of services.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred.
• Willingness to work across multiple environments on a weekly basis to meet the needs of our clients.
