Location: Worcester (Office Based)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + KPI Bonus (c£3,000+ OTE)

Hours: 8.30-5pm (Monday to Friday) – Flexibility as needed

Holiday allowance: 24 days + Statutory

What’s the role about?

As the Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for generating a consistent pipeline of new opportunities and helping drive the next phase of business growth.

You will:

• Identify and engage new customers across the UK construction market.
• Generate qualified leads, enquiries, and meetings for the wider sales team.
• Reignite lapsed customer relationships and uncover new opportunities.
• Research projects, frameworks, and industry developments to create sales opportunities.
• Work closely with account managers, field sales representatives, and coordinators to maximise growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to generate new business opportunities.
• Build relationships with decision-makers including directors, buyers, project managers, and procurement teams.
• Use CRM systems, LinkedIn, industry intelligence, and internal lead sources to identify opportunities.
• Arrange meetings and generate qualified enquiries for the sales team.
• Build multiple contacts within target accounts and strengthen prospect engagement.
• Track activity and performance against agreed KPIs.
• Maintain accurate records and pipeline management through CRM systems

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has proven B2B business development, telesales, or lead generation experience.
• Is confident making outbound calls and building rapport with senior decision-makers.
• Knows how to research markets, identify opportunities, and create new business conversations.
• Is self-motivated, resilient, and targets driven.
• Has experience using CRM systems and LinkedIn as a business development tool.
• Enjoys working collaboratively while taking ownership of their own results.
• Is hungry to develop their career within a growing organisation.
