Make a data protection complaint

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, tell us. We will look into it and tell you what we decide.

What happens next

  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days — usually immediately if you use the form below.
  • We will make reasonable enquiries into what happened.
  • We will keep you updated and tell you the outcome.

You will be given a reference. Please quote it if you contact us again about the same complaint.

Complain using the form

Optional — but without it we cannot tell you the outcome.

We will acknowledge your complaint immediately and always within 30 days. You can also complain by email or post, or by telephone — every route is treated the same. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner (ico.org.uk) at any time; you do not have to come to us first.

Or complain another way

A complaint made by email, post or telephone carries exactly the same duty as one submitted through this form, and is handled on the same timescale.

Complaining to the regulator

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint at any time. You do not have to come to us first, and complaining to us does not affect your right to go to the ICO.
